Doesn't matter the time you go. Whether it is Toni, Tori, Tina or Jessie. It is a great experience. Even when you bring a groups in unexpectedly cause you reserved the wrong night, it is awesome. And always ask Jessie or Tori for wine suggestions. They always rock! Prost! Oh yeah. Buffalo chicken panini. Yummy, son!

I go to UWL and they advertised but didn't think much. Came here with friends for the free coffee for students! AMAZING atmosphere whether it be for dining, or studying. Socialization, and A LOT of studying happens. The furniture is tasteful. In addition, the staff looks good and they have exceptional customer service. Recommend for anyone trying to get off campus and away from boring and smelly Murphy lib! They also have extra large tables that make studying even easier. **

This place is really nice inside, but I have to say... the coffee really isn't good here. The espresso is bitter and doesn't have a good flavor. I would not come here for another coffee. The location is great though and the decor is great. I would love to come back at another time to eat and have some wine. I looked through the wine selection. The collection is small, but all of the wines had great descriptions and additional information to help make an informed selection. I also thought the prices were fair. I ended up purchasing a prosecco and malbec to take home.

Had the strawberry salad and a hot chocolate. Yummm!! I highly recommend it. The salad is a little pricey but worth it in size and content.

Cool and comfy place, great wine and lovely food The waitstaff is great. We had apps and the bruschetta was delicious and the breadsticks with cheese sauce were really good. Haven't had the coffee yet, but I would try it because everything else is great.

Rajin Cajun burger is tops. Good value for wine beer and great selection. Nice vibe and music too

Love this place for many reasons. The steamers are awesome -my favorite is toasted marshmallow (it's like a hot chocolate only way better). Also love the soup and salad bar for lunch. My hubby and I can be out quickly and eat healthy at the same time. We went there for a special on new Years Eve and had so much fun - they had tried their first comedy night, with some new menu options and "to die for" peach bellinis. A must try if you are in the area.

I would really love to give JavaVino 4 stars. The interior was nice and trendy and they had a quaint but good selection of wine, that I actually ended up buying a bottle of malbec and prosecco to try out. I also liked the idea that there was a drive-through window. My rating is based on their coffee as I did not have any food. I ordered a latte, which is the standard that you would get to easily compare to other lattes. To be honest, it was bitter and did not taste very good. I had to add extra honey and milk to offset the bitterness and bad flavor. Later, I realized that their coffee was actually made from an automatic machine. I couldn't tell if they freshly ground their beans at the restaurant or not, but it didn't really seem like it. You'd think they would put more work into the coffee, especially when part of the restaurant's name is Java.

Food was excellent! Definitely suggest their paninis! Servers and baristas are always pleasant. And a great wine selection. Desserts are also great and tasted fresh.

Normally I would give this place a good review. Apparently the concept of a lettuce wrapped burger (ie no bun) is the hardest concept to grasp. The burger came out chopped up looking like someone else's leftovers. Stick to drinks soup an salad bar here from now on. Also the service was less than desirable. Normally I would give this place a thumbs up but it will be awhile before I come back.

Not going to lie, this is my favorite place on earth! May sound extreme, but believe me when I tell you, Java vino excels in everything they do! I've never in my life met such friendly, helpful, welcoming Baristas! The case in the front is full of yummy treats and beverages! The menu is flawless, they recently started doing half sandwiches for when you're not totally hungry, these are awesome! They offer panninis, soups, salads, burgers, desserts, every type of beverage (with or without alcohol) you could possibly want! They even do soup, salad & breadstick buffet. They always have fabulous specials. I wish they would've kept doing their "drink of the week" i'd always have a recommendation of something new to try at a special price too. They have to-go mugs that are my favorite ever they never spill and make a statement, just make sure not to put yours in the dishwasher. JavaVino even has a drive thru & a patio! Also, a private room in the back you can reserve for meetings and functions. The decor, staff, menu, everything, is FABULOUS! I couldn't be more of an advocate for this place. You can seriously make a night out of going here, stop by mid day for a healthy parfait, or lounge about on your computer and catch up on some work. I've spent days here and the staff has never ever made me feel rushed at all. My recommendations are the nirvana latte (white chocolate, raspberry, coconut) the parfaits, the banana chocolate chip muffins, the BBC burger, and if you're stopping by for breakfast (which is also nothing less than superior) they have bacon, egg, and cheese on fresh ciabatta served with fresh fruit which is simply mouthwatering. I am so disappointed I no longer live in La Crosse, but I will be back and for sure visiting my favorite place.

A great combo of food and drink. Love the salad bar with the chicken curry mushroom soup! I usually pick up a couple bottles of wine and grab a black and white mocha to go. I also like going for a glass of wine and dessert after a movie on date night.
